The Stihl KMA 130 R is a powerful cordless KombiEngine with high torque and low weight. At only 3.2kg this is the lightest KombiEngine in the range. It is ideal for work in noise sensitive areas and prolonged use due to the low vibration levels. The KMA 130 R comes supplied with a shoulder harness for support during use. It is to be used in conjunction with AP batteries connected via the battery belt or carrying system with connecting cable, or an AR backpack battery to maintain machine balance

Quick-release coupling

The quick-release coupling allows the Stihl KMA 130 R KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then re-assembled quickly without tools.

Operating handle with speed regulation

Depending on the task, the maximum speed can be regulated in three stages. This saves energy and extends the battery life. The operating handle has “Operator Presence Control” with self-resetting locking lever, preventing unintentional starting of the device.

STIHL EC-Engine

The STIHL brushless electric motor (EC) is very energy efficient and practically maintenance free. Thanks to its outstanding efficiency, the battery power is directly translated into impressive performance. During operation, the electronically controlled EC motor permanently monitors the load and adjusts the engine accordingly.

Socket

To transfer power, the socket and the tool is connected to the STIHL AP or AR batteries using the connecting cable. This means that the battery can be conveniently worn on the body.
