AURA-R2 is a fully autonomous, wire-free robotic mower designed for precise, consistent lawn care across areas up to 3000 m². Combining intelligent navigation, smart sensing and reliable connectivity, it delivers a clean, even finish with minimal effort.
At its core is PATH IQ™, EGO’s advanced navigation system integrating RTK*, VSLAM* and VIO*. These technologies work together to map and navigate your garden with centimetre-level accuracy, planning efficient, non-overlapping mowing paths without boundary wires.
The PATH IQ™ Antenna enables local RTK functionality, acting as a base station to communicate with satellites and refine mower positioning for smooth, precise navigation.
The mower’s dual-camera system detects and reacts to obstacles in real time, safely avoiding pets, people and garden features. Its intelligent stripe-mowing pattern alternates mowing angles after each full cycle to prevent visible tracks and reduce grass wear. A rainfall detection system pauses operation when wet conditions are detected, protecting your lawn surface, while the app-controlled cutting height (20–90 mm) lets you tailor results to your preference.
A daily micro-cutting system trims small amounts at a time, producing fine mulch that feeds the soil and encourages healthy growth. With slope handling up to 50 %, AURA-R2 maintains stability across challenging terrain.
Connectivity is seamless: Bluetooth handles quick setup, while Wi-Fi and 4G keep the mower, antenna and EGO CONNECT app synchronised for real-time updates.
Built for durability, AURA-R2 features an IP66-rated housing, fully protected against dust and water, and simple to clean – even with a pressure washer.
